The Smelter is a resource building in Last War Survival that produces “Upgrade Ore,” an important material used to upgrade your heroes’ gear. As you level up the Smelter, its hourly production of Upgrade Ore increases.
You can build your first Smelter once your Headquarters reaches level 6.

- The upgrade cost shown in the table above reflects the base resource requirement, without factoring in any bonuses. Once you apply bonuses from VIP perks, research, and other factors, the actual cost will be slightly lower.
- As for the upgrade time, it’s an estimated value that may vary slightly depending on your bonuses. While the difference won’t be significant for each player, it gives a good idea of how long the upgrade will take.
